Assault: Seagull Grounded (Periqia PSC Assault)

On Saturday, Yobun (THF74), Trow (RDM75), Diasuke (SMN75), Itera (MNK74) and Kiki (PLD74) decided to try the PSC Assault Mission for Periqia, Seagull Grounded. We had to escort an NPC named Excaliace through a dungeon, but it's not as easy as escorting Olavia through Crawlers Nest. This guy is really annoying. If he sees any monsters, he runs back to the start, and we hadn't figured out how to get him to stop and restart reliably, which wasted a lot of time.

In the first section of the dungeon, there are six rooms. Three of these rooms have three crabs in them. Excaliace will randomly choose three of the rooms to visit, and if he picks a crab room, you have to kill all the crabs in that room to keep him continuing through the dungeon. Of course, with our luck, he picked each of the crab rooms.

It ended up being yet another frustrating time-out. Yobun thinks he figured out how to "control" the NPC better, so perhaps we'll have better luck next time. At the rate I'm going, I'm never going to be able to get any of the cool equipment you can get with Assault Points.
