General: And the n00b-of-month award goes to...

...Kiki, for getting most her friends killed in the Arrapago Reef during an LS trip to the two hardest-to-get-to assault staging points, Ilrusi Atoll and Dvucca Isle. Since these two staging points are a bit of a challenge to get to safely, we decided to have a large group at once, hoping for safety in numbers.

We started gathering together in Whitegate, but a few went ahead on the ferry to Nashmau while we waited for others to arrive. We ended up leaving Elbryan and Dadoo behind for the first staging point, since they were still on the ship from Mhaura to Aht Urghan when the rest of us were all in Nashmau. We had Diasuke, Trow, Charcole, Itera, Elboron, Grymalkyn, Aksukia, Kiki, and Aksukia's friend Lordvirus. Diasuke and Lordvirus both had already got these two points and came along to help. We were all level 73 or higher, and all but two had subbed (or mained) WHM or RDM for sneak and invisible. When we got to the iron gate that we needed to unlock with a Lamia Fang Key, we ran into Spot and Mango, both SMN75s (I think), also looking to get to the Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point, so we invited them into our alliance.

We slowly made our way through, trying to avoid detection, but Charcole lost sneak when no one was close enough to recast in time, and he got aggro and ended up dying. We raised him and continued on, fighting a few things as we went.

We got to the staging point and used the runic portal to attune ourselves to it. Back in Whitegate, we all changed to BLM to warp back to Nashmau, having set our home-point there to avoid having to take the ferry again. Spot and Mango left us, and we picked up Elbryan and Dadoo, who were now waiting in Nashmau.

Our second time out from Nashmau, Trow got aggro'd and tried zoning the skeletons, but ended up dying on the zone line. Aksukia raised him and we continued on. At one point, most of us got pretty far ahead of Elbryan and Dadoo, so we waited in a safe spot for them to get caught up to us. They had nearly made it when Dadoo got aggro'd, and killed in two hits. We all jumped up to rush to their aid, casting sneak and invisible to get to them safely.

Unfortunately, Kiki the n00blette didn't notice that when she cast invisible, it wasn't actually on herself. Grym said "wait, you're still visible" about the same time Kiki ran right through a cluster of Qutrubs and a Merrow summoner. /sigh Rather than leave Kiki to die alone, half the group jumped in to try to save her, to no avail, and to the detriment of their own experience points. First Trow, then Elboron, then Charcole, then Itera, then Grymalkyn were all dead. How embarrassing! At least a few people managed to stay out of the fray, and Aksukia handed out R3s all around. We rested up and continued on our way.

Most of us now have portal access to all 5 of the staging areas, so our goal was accomplished. It was pretty fun too I suppose. I couldn't help but laugh at my own stupidity. I feel so bad for killing everyone.
