Notorious Monsters: Mycophile

Kiki decided she wanted a pair of Mycophile Cuffs for her BLM, and set out to Carpenters Landing with Grymalkyn to see if they could get them. The NM funguar Mycophile is spawned by trading a sleepshroom, woozyshroom, and danceshroom to a ??? spot in the tunnels of Carpenters' Landing (enter from the "tiger cave" in eastern Jugner Forest). Kiki brought one of each mushrooms they needed, but when Mycophile was spawned and they killed it, they didn't get any Cuffs.

There were plenty of shriekers in the area, so they planned to get the mushrooms they needed there. However, after what seemed like an hour of killing funguars and getting only sleepshrooms and woozyshrooms, they decided that these shriekers were different from those in Ordelle's Caves, which do indeed drop Danceshrooms.

So they headed to Ordelle's Caves and killed a bunch of shriekers there, and got two danceshrooms. They returned to Carpenters' Landing and spawned Mycophile second time, and this time the Cuffs dropped, so Kiki now has a really good piece of gear to wear on her hands while playing Black Mage.
