Events: Adventurer Appreciation

Moogles have shown up in the towns, ready to tell adventurers some statistics pertaining to their adventures, and they're handing out presents as well. You can either ask for your present right away, or you can wait to hopefully get something better. It seems pretty arbitrary though, as Grym's mule Qimirpik requested his present right away and got a Chocopass (and went for a ride as a level 3), while Grym chose to wait, and still got just a Chocopass. Qiara got a Return Ring.

My newest mule, Ohrly, with less than 2 hours of play time, waited, and got a Homing Ring. Just what every Question-Mark-Head level 1 player needs. Qiwi got a Bronze Moogle Belt, Quincy got an Adventurer's Certificate, and Kiki got a Chocobo Wand. Qix waited two days, and got a Homing Ring. Kiki went back to talk to the moogle again after another day, and it seems you can get multiple presents from the moogles, but limited to one per real-life day. Kiki's second present was a Return Ring, and Grym's was a Homing Ring.

Ever talk to someone who doesn't have a BLM SJ for Warp? Their number of times KO'd is in the thousands...

Yes! I had noticed this. There are several people in my LS that haven't bothered to level BLM to 17, and we've all been comparing our KO rates. Some of them are doing end-game stuff that would KO them from time to time, but really, it's the death-warps that are getting them those high numbers.
