Leveling: Ninja Blues in East Altepa (31 -> 33)

The Ninja Blues static finally got another leveling session in. We were all 31, and headed to East Altepa when we saw that it was pretty much empty. We camped next to the outpost guard at the zone to West Altepa, and had a fun time fighting beetles for a few hours. We killed them pretty quickly, but Charcole sometimes had to go pretty far for the pulls, so it did seem a bit slow overall.

We're a bit more spread out in the levels now, with Itera, then Charcole, then Elboron leveling first. Grym, Wendell and Kiki are all close enough that we had triple level ups both at 32 and 33. It's always fun to see the multiple level ups.

When we hit 33, we decided to see what the Dhalmels were like (they checked simply "Incredibly Tough"). It was a more exciting fight than the beetles, but without having Silena in the group, it's a bit dangerous for the Ninja tanks. And the defense down effect was nearly fatal when Elboron pulled hate with his defenses down. I'm not sure where we should go next time. I love fighting beetles since they have no damaging AOEs, and their TP moves aren't terribly debilitating. I'll have to compare the beetle levels in Altepa to those in Garliage. We were still getting some good beetles at 33 in Altepa, but there were a lot of Toughs in the mix at that point as well.
